Scotland - Fife to Edinburgh

St Giles, with its famed crown spire on top stands between Edinburgh Castle and the Palace of Holyroodhouse. It was founded in about 1124 and has some lovely stained glass windows dated from 1873. During the Middle Ages, there would have been earlier stained glass in the church, but only a few tiny fragments survive.
